Can aftershave color be trusted for fragrance?

I've found multiple threads about fragrances and the wheel of fragrances, colors associated with type of fragrance (e.g. here Scent Descriptions - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/scent-descriptions.180553/ ).

So , for example , when we see a blue after shave lotion, we would expect it to be fresh / cool. Green, we would expect the lotion to mainly smells fresh+herbal. Brown = amber/musk.

But are there exceptions?
Can we be fooled, like ordering an aftershave online colored brown but that actually smell like fresh-herbal or citrus?
