Best of Breed Modern Razors: Your List

I’ve always read they work best with Feather blades. Is the AS-D2 still reasonably efficient with something like a Nacet or Silver Blue?

Sorry I can't say as I have used Feather blades exclusively for 10 years or more and don't keep any others around.

Once I found the Feather blades/mild razor (gilette aristocrat, Fatboy on a closed setting and now ASD2) that was it for me.

Nobody has mentioned Tatara, so I will mention them because I have one.

I have no idea if they are 'the best' as most of my other favourite razors would be considered "tier 2" or "janky Italian weirdness". I like mine though.

I was gifted 2 different models of Timeless. Both are superb in their own ways. Amazing just to look at!

While I would never consider it modern, it is a great razor.

I’m a vintage guy but I have a few “modern” razors that shave well, in order of preference:

Nope. That'd be vintage.

I would put RazoRock razors in the top tier, and happily match their quality against any other brand. The only thing they lack in any way is polish level, which is a subjective and aesthetic only thing.
