Day 14, 45.2% complete

Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat (Tallow)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC.84 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #2
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm

I hadn't used MWF for a couple of weeks, so bloomed it with hot water, and loaded heavily. This did good things, as I got an excellent bowl lather, and a shave to match.

The puck has worn unevenly in a (slightly too wide) SV tin, so needs tamped down and tidied up.

Still in decided to get a shave in after all with my current travel kit.

Pre-Shave: Cold Shower
Razor: Rockwell 6S Plate 5
Brush: Simpsons T3 synthetic
Blade: Personna Med Prep 1st use
Soap: Razorock Blue Label shave stick

Post-Shave: Alum Block
Myrsol Agua Di Limon splash
Myrsol Emulsion
Creed GIT decant

First shave with a DE for 7 months and must say what a pleasant experience it was. A couple of tiny weepers in an otherwise flawless shave. The Myrsol post shave product performed exquisitely leave my face feeling hydrated and other than the initiall splash burn can’t fault them. With the splash burn I think it was operator error as I used too much. The GIT rounded off a shave I was very pleased with as no irritation. Roll on tot the next shave. Half way there fellas 💪💪💪💪

I absolutely agree.

But way more important, the Blackbird shaves exceptionally well. Today I picked the wrong blade, though. This razor shines even brighter with a fresh Nacet...

Btw, as we speak, how's the shave with your Guerilla? Does the black colour hold on well?

Cheers!
The black is holding fast. I don't forsee it going anywhere.

It shaves great. It's mild and very smooth. I tried a .84mm baseplate and it wasn't near as smooth. I'm interested in the .69 option or the .54 OC just to get a little more efficiency. The last two days I shaved with my Razorrock old type, and I was done with 1.5 passes. The Guerrilla I need 2.5 passes.
