They were never "sold out". As a matter of fact, the titanium and bronze Spirits were never sold, I think. Add your name in the signup to get notified by email when products are in stock

Correct. This is a placeholder to let people see what’s coming. They will be ready in 3-4 weeks or so.

I am loathe to change anything right now. Already some subtle refreshes. Maybe later I will do a + and a ++ plate but not now.

I will be the first one in line for the +. I do love the razor as is, but it would be nice to be able to use blades other than the Kai Captain (not the pink). But just a tiny bit more aggressive, please.

Have you tried using a Feather Pro Super? For me that blade made the Spirit a perfect shaver.

My shave from earlier tonight before catching up on this thread. Stainless Spirit, Kai Captain Blue, AP Shave, RR. Damn good.

Additional efficiency plates would be welcome. Also cap off the bottom of the handle if possible for a more finished look.

I would imagine the feel of bronze would be warmer and just nicer in your hand. Every gram heavier than the SS would result in a slightly more aggressive razor but I'm assuming it would be negligible. I think the bronze would cater to folks to like shiny brass things.

You nailed it. Some like heavier girls than others. Titanium is cool and smooth. Bronze is warm and silky and would somewhat retain heat. BOTH will be awesome shaves.

Yep, agreed. The SS Spirit is delightful for me - perfectly balanced and nimble, and I do not feel tempted by the Ti version at all. The bronze on the other hand ... that's a whole different thing. Just sick and cruel of you, honestly. Here comes my money. Nicely done.

Depends on whether you like the look of bronze patina, but either way, yes it requires more attention than Stainless. If you are good with it looking like an antique within a year or two, only minor maintenance required (clean and dry after each shave so chemical residues don't impact even oxidation). If you want to keep that polished new look, you will have to thoroughly clean and dry it after each use, and periodically polish it/soak it in something that will gently remove the patina

Yes, I'm fine with that. Would I need to take the blade out after each use to dry the razor?
