Tonight another 3017 shave and I'm making real progress with the Proraso Green and it's not a bad soap especially compared to the white. The Ming-Shi wasn't as uncomfortable tonight, it seems to have good and bad days. Maybe it isn't so bad when it wears down a bit.

@Mike M, the Ming-Shi sound as bad as blue Astras to me. I gave up on those. The green ones are fine.

Yeah I'm looking forward to getting rid of these but I have a lot of odd open tucks to get through and I'm trying not to give up on any of them, but I am sorely tempted to get less shaves than I can put of these.

Loaded a fresh green Astra. I had a quick but effective DFS.

Yeah I'm looking forward to getting rid of these but I have a lot of odd open tucks to get through and I'm trying not to give up on any of them, but I am sorely tempted to get less shaves than I can put of these.

Another hit and miss affair today, mostly miss. I don't understand how yesterday I got a perfectly serviceable shave with this blade and razor combo and today I ended up with a couple of weepers. I didn't rush myself and I didn't feel I put anymore pressure on the razor than last time, but here I am running the alum block over my face. They just seem to be inconsistent.
