365 (Or More) Shaves in 2025

Today is 04-05-2025 is # 95 of 2025.

Razor: Goodfellas' Smile - Bayonetta
Blade: 7 AM Plus Hi Platinum. DAY # ONE USEAGE.
Bowl: N/A
Soap/Cream: Cremo - Refreshing Mint, smells is great.
Brush/Instrument: Fingers/Omega Boar
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Still using my Goodfellas' Smile Bayonetta today this Razor is a Rock Star. Shave was three passes, with, across, & against the grain, using a Almost NEW FRESH - 7 AM Plus Hi Platinum, some Blade feel but just feedback, Shave went as easy as 1, 2, 3, Blade is Super Sharp, and, Efficient. Today was DAY # ONE for using this Blade, came out of my Orphan Blade Ziplock. Blade sent message, aka feedback it was working good today, it was loud talking, and clear.

Shave today was Dam Fine Shave but did not achieving perfection rating, would be 9.999 +. Results were Darn Good because I payed a lot of attention to Technique, reaped rewards, of DFS for doing so. I do not & never will chase BBS, do but still got great Shave. This is an Ultra Heavy Weight Razor at 3.49 Ounces, Handle is nice & long so it like having baseball bat in hand. Last observation about the Goodfellas' Smile Bayonetta Razor is it Clamp Down Blade so there is NO Blade Movement or Blade Chatter this is a flipping excellent shaving tool.

Shave number 95
365 shaves (or more) in 2025
SV Saturday

Razor:
Muhle Rocca R94
Blade: Treet Classic (3)
Brush: Muhle Rocca R94 STF
Soap: SV Opuntia
Post Shave: L'Oreal Men Hydra Creme
A/S: Davidoff Cool Water

Tonight SV Saturday saw Opuntia take centre stage lathered with the Rocca STF. I loaded the Treet blade into the Rocca and shaved away achieving a very close shave, though I fear that is more to do with the exceptional performance of SV rather than the performance of the Treet Classic blade.

Razor: Enders Speed Razor (Hendrix Adapter)
Blade: Schick Proline B (Shaves: 3, Passes: 9)
20250330_121920~2.jpg

Brush: Wild West Brushworks Invasion (TNS 26mm Original BOSS Fan)
Bowl: Captain's Choice Copper
Lather: Taconic Bay Rum Shave Cream
Post-shave Balm: Nivea
Aftershave: Clubman Pinaud Special Reserve

The Enders (with Hendrix adapter to allow injector blade use) is a really cool razor. Must be used shallow. Not as effective as my best razors but, when used correctly, it provides an excellent, comfortable shave. :001_wub:

Excellent 3-Pass DFS

Sunday 6th April, shave 96

Preshave: Hot washcloth
Lather: Palmolive Stick, made into a puck
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: GC1.05 SB, Al Handle, Astra SP #10
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm

Palmolive day again, and it really does give fancier soaps a run for their money. Another easy DFS, but time for a fresh blade.

ASRazor shave, MMMonday, 2025, #13/365 consecutive daily shaves!

Razor : Ever-Ready 1924(AKA- Shovel head). Mfg 1924-33, mid range. It works well and was very popular because the length of production run, I like to use a Rigs shim in this razor for great smooother results.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) Very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock The Dead Sea croap, very enjoyable scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band badger. Nice badger brush with a large bloom(Cubby).
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 10 stellar.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=:a17: Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Ever-Ready 1924 shovelhead with a coated Gem blade. My Ever-Readys are slightly more aggressive (Mid range) than most of my Gem Razors, not complaining just observing.

Have some great shaves!
Just take the spine off the new blade and replace it with the thicker spine from the time period. That is what the razor was designed for.

Shave number 96
365 shaves (or more) in 2025

Razor:
Rockwell 6C R6
Blade: Treet Classic (4)
Brush: Simpsons Trafalgar T3
Soap: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
Post Shave: L'Oreal Men Hydra Creme
A/S: Davidoff Cool Water

Another 3017 shave with SDM tonight and everything went really well. After lathering I managed to get a very smooth shave, the only fly in the ointment was the weeper I acquired at the side of my mouth. I managed to get it to stop bleeding fairly quickly. Other than that I got a very smooth finish.
