❄️🌿 300+ Shaves in 2025 ☀️🍁

Today is 01-16-2025, Shave Report Day 16 2025

Razor: 1956 Ball-End Tech
Blade: Durablade 7 AM Plus Hi Platinum, Day 1 use.
Soap/Cream: Cremo Classic Citrus (Secret Sent)
Bowl: N/A
Brush/Instrument: Omega Bore
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Still using my 1956 Ball-End Tech again, IMHO is amazing Razor, this Razor was PIF thanks to @gpjoe.

Doing a 3 pass Shave Against, With, & Across the Grain, a New Durablade 7 AM Plus Hi Platinum, there was some slight blade feel, blade just glided, removed Beard with ease. Blade did not make me say wow, it is not a Grail Blade, but worked good today, time will tell bow Blade lasts.

Wish this Ball End Tech - Razor was a tad more aggressive, and had more blade feel. Shave was 9.85, not BBS, but still DamFine Shave. This is first time using this Blade found one in Orphan Blade Ziplock, so I am trying for FIRST TIME.

Still working on a Tube of Cremo Citrus, personally get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it is not a strong in your face scent that yells Citrus. Still trying to do face lather, with Omega Bore Bristle, Cremo is a Cream, not a Soap or Stick that lathers well. Positive of Cremo is it does leave face soft post Shave use.

Old Vintage Gillette’s, are good Razor’s, still working well enough to put a big smile on my face. What this Ball-End Tech is underestimated work horse, cold be almost Grail Razor at 66 year young. I am a Vintage Gillette Junkie, they work well with Sharp New Quality Blade IMHO. Color me HAPPY.

Rembrandt Super Stainless (2)
Simpson Trafalgar
MdC Agrumes
Thayers Witch Hazel
Trumpers Lime Skinfood ( pre and post )

This was a niiiiiiice shave. Very smooth. I semi Marco-methoded the MdC, and lets just say I had plenty of lather. I also, for the first time, used Trumpers skin food as a pre-shave.

I am incredibly pleased with the shave. It's not extremely close, but it was most comfortable and still resulted in a borderline DFS/BBS. I didn't push my buffing, so I left money on the table stubble-wise. I was in a hurry to complete my shave, and I don't blame the blade for that.

Shave #18
So far, so good. I’m on track to 3017 the Nivea shave stick, and I’m having some pleasant shaves as I work my way through a tuck of Treet Black Beauties. These blades do good work, but they’re mostly one and done for me. I started a vintage bottle of Avon Deep Woods today. This is my first time using this aftershave. It’s a nice scent, but it doesn’t seem to last very long.
