I’m using my GC .68 this week. It’s loaded with a Gillette 7 o’clock yellow blade. It was a CCS this morning.

Ouch! That’s what my wife says, but she uses more colorful language.
It’s actually a frankensoap. It’s a combination of VDH, Williams and a puck of glycerins shea butter soap my wife made for me during the restock period.
I’m a little impatient at times, so last week I decided to just cram them in there and give it a go. It’s messy once I get a wet brush going on it, but the lather is really quite good. I’ll guess that pile of soap will keep me going till June.

The Cylons got me I'm out.
Got pretty sick just this last week with Covid.
I wanted to shave but quick, ended up doing some research and got a labs razor.
I've been enjoying it a lot, I've never had a 5 blade cartridge razor give me a such a close, non irritating shave with just one pass.
All the other 5 blade cartridge razors have been nightmares for me, so this was one heck of a surprise.
I'm on day 7 of shaving with the labs and really enjoying.
I might dabble back into the DE world every now and then, but the labs has really changed things for me.

Or was this actually your exception after research? And you came to the conclusion that a lab would be better than a Stando?

You’re probably correct.
I really didn’t see myself getting a Stando TI this year. The labs seemed like a great razor to go with after researching for something I could shave with quick.
Definitely cheaper with the refills for a couple of years as well lol.
Up to you all if I use this as my exception…

You lasted to April last year with no exception. This year the exception was a razor. Some make their exception very specific. Others have a little more experience with GRUME on their exception wording. And a razor is a razor. I will see that as such and say you are still in!
