Respect! I very much enjoy the infinitely variable sounds possible from electric instruments, the sustain, and the sheer volume, but I am all in on acoustics. After decades as a hardcore computer geek I got tired of dealing with digital technology. I enjoy the touch, sound, and even the smell of acoustic instruments. All that and no cables. Variety is the spice of life. You guys notice I did not include effects pedals on my list of restrained items.
I own a small effects pedal company and build lots of pedals.
Living the RV life prohibits me from owning lots of guitars. And also building an amp would be a challenge. But building lots of guitar pedals is really doable thus far.
Yeah, that’ll work! Sounds like a money saving plan to me!
Nice looking amp! I bet it sounds as good as it looks. I personally feel that if a home built amp is a replica of a historical amp, it’s okay to put on the original logo as a tribute, as long as this is only for personal use, and that one provides full disclosure whenever posting and showing the amp. I had commissioned an 18 watt Marshall build many years ago, and added the logo after the fact because it was an exact reproduction of the original amp. Never gigged that amp either. Personally I would add the Fender logo, or have one made in the style with your name on it or something.
Sorry for the hijack!
