Foiled again.
Just checking in here, doing well so far. Had a nice shave with my Merkur 34C, TOBS Sandalwood, and Dorco ST300 (16).
I switched from my Merkur 37C at about the 12th shave with the Dorco. This blade keeps its edge well for me and I think I can hit 20 shaves with this one.
I like my two Merkurs. Cheers!

Another great shave with the MJ90A. PdP has such a nice fresh and unpretentious scent - a shame it isn't distributed in the UK.

Checking in. Still in!
Haven't felt like shave logging very much, and I've been online enjoying aspects of other non-shave forums, etc. Also, for whatever reason, my Macbook (somehow) is preventing me from uploading my photos to forums. It's happened in the past and I can't recall what fixed it. But I do have the last 5 shaves photographed.
I healed quickly from the Futur bite. I've been working on my one-pass efforts. The hardest part is reminding myself that it's an acceptable shave and there's no reason to do more, save some time and energy.
My TBD exemption may be used this weekend. But I doubt it, I'm enjoying being in a general spending freeze.
Reality is, I don't need to add anything, I can shave for the rest of my life on what I have.
That Batch 2 from Blackland, looks super interesting, and I was hoping they'd make a half DE razor. Time will tell.

Ceylons attacked my vessel out of the Alpha nebula whilst being on cruise control.
I fell for a limited DE razor which features both my first name and (!) meets all the specs I'd be looking for in a razor... that unique combination was just too much of a temptation and let my defense shield collapse.

It's a single-blade Leaf... that uses a magnet closure... and a strange clumsy-looking handle?
I am not going to throw too much shade at Blackland when they've made such well-regarded razors, but... the Batch 2 seems weird to me.
Just watched the video, I would buy the batch 2 in a heartbeat. The purchase situation is unclear to me. Blackland site lists it as sold out and also as available Sat 15th. Guess I'll check the site tomorrow and see what's what. As your friendly neighborhood Ceylon I am willing to go to bad places and do bad things so that you don't have to.
Weekly checkin and still on board! Lovely shave this affternoon after stacking hay bales.
I've been wrong about so many things before, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Batch 2 turned out to be something awesome and revolutionary. It's just, right now, I'm not seeing it.
I am going to assume you manage to snag one, and await your report back to B&B very much indeed!
