Razor: Vintage Gillette 1947 - No Notch Super Speed - My Birth Year. Blade: Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum. NEW BLADE - DAY # 4 USEAGE Bowl: N/A Soap/Cream: Cremo Coconut - Mango, smell is great. Brush/Instrument: Fingers/Omega Boar Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel
Again today using my, Vintage Gillette 1947 - No Notch Super Speed - My Birth Year. Three passes, With, Across, &, Against the Grain, using a Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum, today was DAY # 4 for the Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum Blade, worked wonderful, removed beard, some Blade feel. This Blade is not one that goes more than 4 Shave for me, will never buy the 7-0-Black again.
Shave today was several tads short off the achieving a perfect, rating would be 9.9+ GREAT. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, Head Angle, reaping rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave.
Still working on New Tube of Cremo Coconut - Mango, This scent is very very nice, it don’t know you over, but is present sent. Started This Tube of Cremo on 02/07/2025. Tried working in Cremo with my Omega Boar, it seems to helped getting Beard to stand up for closer shave. Working with Brush on Face don’t lather much, but seem to help raise Beard for Shaving off.
This New Cremo Coconut - Mango, Scent is also more translucent Whiteish in Color verses Solid White like previous Classic Citrus. Honestly think this is a New Cremo formulation, is not as THICK like toothpaste, and works much better. Smells wonderful, JMHO.
Old Vintage Gillette’s, are good Razor’s, still working well enough to put a big smile on my face daily. This Vintage Gillette 1947 No Notch Super Speed - My Birth Year, an underestimated work horse, could be almost Grail Razor at 78+ years young.
I am a Vintage Gillette Junkie, That is all I own, they work well with Sharp New Quality Blade IMHO. Could all these super pricy New Modern Razors be HYPE? Maybe all you need is a Vintage, and GREAT BLADE? May my Vintage Gillette 1947 - No Notch Super Speed - My Birth Year is a Sheep that imitations the performance of a big bucks Wolf, or other Pricy Modern.

Razor: ROC-YUMA - Chinese YUMA Clone. Blade: Gillette 7-O Clock . NEW BLADE - DAY # 1 USEAGE Bowl: N/A Soap/Cream: Cremo Coconut - Mango, smell is great. Brush/Instrument: Fingers/Omega Boar Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel
Today went to dark side used the Razor gifted by a Badger & Blade Member, a known to me as the ROC-YUMA - Chinese YUMA Clone. Three passes, With, Across, &, Against the Grain, using a Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum, today was DAY # 1. Shave went better then expected, removed beard, HECK OF A LOT OF BLADE FEEL.. My big battle was SUPER SHORT Handle at 2.8 inches, it’s dinky, not easy to grip, plus no weight to this Razor so to speak of weighing in at 0.42 OZ’s. Plastic Top Cap, & Handle, think Plate is Secret Mystery Metal?
Shave today was off achieving perfection rating, would be 9.0. Results were OK because I payed more attention to Technique, Head Angle, reaping rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave. The Razor was a challenge to use, grip properly, but BLADE ALIGNMENT was GOOD BOTH SIDE EQUAL. I survived with not bone drop of blood let.
