The ruling is that if I am buying the filament for non-shaving projects, I’m good.Are you sure that 3kg will be enough to last your an entire year? It is a long time after all. There is still time.
If a guy uses olive oil as a pre shave, is he not allowed to buy olive oil for cooking?
All kidding aside, I use 95% of my filament for non-shaving projects.

I dont think so. I think the jist of the statement regarding filament was that if I buy 3D printer filaments for my job and have a little left over, making the odd shaving trinket won’t make me out of the sabbatical. Since it did not cost any additional money, nor was purchased specifically for shaving.
It’s likely a moot point anyway because with my recent filament restock, i will have enough spare filament to do whatever miscellaneous shave stuff comes up in 2025. 3kg of filament is a lot more than one would think. And I still have five or six spools of abs and other non-PLA filaments in stock. I was just running low on Black PLA which I need for a non-shaving project this coming week.
