1st got at a cream - C.O. Bigalow

VDH + C.O. Bigelow is a classic superlather. Lots of people have used this, myself included. Great combination.

Williams + Bigelow is also a tried and true superlather, but I have not tried it myself.

I imagine Susie's Eucalyptus would be a nice choice; sage and citrus might work well, too.

Williams and Bigelow is a great combo. I use it almost daily. The lemon (citronella) and eucalyptus go very well together. Follow it up with some Aqua Velva for a great finish.

If you like the cooling effect, check out My Time Bath & Body. Jean's menthol 10/10 will make the Proraso look like it is unmentholated.

Where do you get My Time Bath & Body? Though it does sound like a kids book name to try to get your kid to take a bath.

Bigelow and Aqua Velva is such a great combination. If somebody broke in and cleaned out everything else from my Shave Cave, I could be happy with this.

Well, this and my Clubman.

Depending on your location, I might could arrange for someone to clean you out of all these products.....

I just mixed CO's cream with Mama Bears aged spice. I like both alone and together it was a really slick/smooth combo. I was wonder'n how the scents would mix but it was pleasant.

I'm going on vacation this weekend and have been searching for a shave stick or some good travel-sized shave cream (NOT goo in a can) locally since I'm not going to take my bowl and soap. Been to every grocery store and pharmacy with no luck. There was a giant bottle of King of Shaves at CVS, but that defeats the whole "travel" part.

I think I'll pick up some of this!

I'll be taking my Tech in a mint tin (idea I saw on here) with some foam in it to hold everything.

Also, I have a new travel-sized badger brush I scored from an antiques shop last week for $1...think it's a Simpson.

I dont think you will be disappointed with the CO Bigelow... locally availble and just ='s a great shave every time I have used it.

Well, picked some up for my trip tomorrow...used it this morning for the first time with my Tech and travel badger brush in a mug (going to be taking those two pieces)...

I LOVED IT.

I think I get a better lather with my soap, but the Bigelow felt awesome...loved the cooling effect and smell.

Got a great shave, even on my neck with 6 passes :001_unsur , although I peeled my Adam's apple. :cursing:

Syptic pencil took care of it...with some burning.

This will be my travel cream...maybe even my home cream too, although I think I still prefer soap. Now if I could find some soap that feels like this...that would be perfection. Is there one out there?

Um, yeah. You could pick up some Proraso soap.

C.O. Bigelow does not sell a shaving soap in stores that I have seen. But you could goto walmart or cvs/pharmacy and pickup VDH deluxe (pink one) or williams and get a lil superlather going.

I guess I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm one of the few for whom it feels like lathering with a urinal cake.

definately provides a nice shave, but I can't wait until I get access to the B/S/T Forum to trade it
