I ordered a sample of Lavender, Interrupted. I had searched their site recently and was glad they finally restocked it, but, I will no longer buy things from Will unsampled. The last Halloween scent was not for me and I bought all the software. At some point I will turn it around at retail. I also want a sample of Lavender. I tried it once, but, I don't remember what I thought of it.

My first time using Shibusa 2 and I absolutely love it. A deliciously sweet fragrance bursting with vanilla, almond and ylang-ylang. What I love most about the TiBird is its control. The long handle, light weight, and high efficiency give you an almost surgical precision. BBS

Had my first spin with the type 15. My feelings are somewhat mixed. The razor is absolutely gorgeous in person and feels great in the hand. The balance, size, weight and finish all exude craftsmanship and quality.

With only one shave in it's too early to make a pronouncement, but during the shave I noticed a few things I didn't like. The blade feel is so low that it's hard to know it's engaged. Even though the blade gap is wide at 1.2mm it almost seems as if the cutting range is fairly narrow and if you tilt the razor it disengages quickly. The head is large, so getting under the nose on the WTG pass is nigh impossible. Most importantly, the head and safety bar felt as if they were creating drag. Lastly, this is a low-efficiency razor, and even with a Feather and considerable buffing it only delivered a DFS+.

On the positive side, it's extremely comfortable, and herein is its super-power. Aesthetically, it's beautiful and unique, and personally I love its proportions. The clamping seemed solid enough with no perceptible blade flex, despite the hybrid clamping design and clamp-width of 15mm. In sum, the razor is long on form but a bit short on function. It's early and I need a few more shaves, but for now I put it in the low-efficiency category along with the Rocnel 304, which is just as comfortable but easier to use.

The aluminum version had terrible drag
(a known issue and the reason why I sold it).
With the bronze I get absolutely zero drag!
My first shave wasn't great till I followed the designed way of using it:
#1 Sharp blade
#2 slick & wet soap/cream
#2 The center of gravity is on the neck which means you need to hold it there. If not, the balance will be way off.
#3 Ride the cap
#4 Let the massive weight of the razor (while holding the neck) do all the work.
I did that and fantastic shaves came about!
Hope this helps!

Perfect. Thank you for sharing that. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s run!

Shaved with the Hone, used a Lab Blue blade, TOBS Mr. Taylor's cream and had an excellent shave!
One thing I'll agree with is that it's got barely no blade feel. I like more blade feel but that's how this one is!
I've got others as well with light blade feel and still like them for whenever I'm in the mood for that.
Lee, this is one that suddenly clicks after a couple of uses. At least that's the way it worked for me
(second or third use and it was great!)
I had the same issue with the Blutt 1.20, all the way to the point that I had already listed it for sale.
Thankfully no one bought it because one day I picked it up after a few days without using it and it just clicked.
Crossing my fingers for your shave tomorrow!

Me too. It would be great to have something beautiful and efficient that was even milder than the Overlander.
