Parat by far. Something about a Parat and a Feather bring out the best in each other.
I had a good shave with a Feather in my (now sold) Slim Adjustable on #9 . . . and lived to tell the tale.

I haven't tried the German I bought from you, yet...
My Gillette Fat Boy on 4 is perfect with a feather.
I get an excellent shave with a Feather and my President. The Feather is the best blade in this razor for me; all my other blades - Derbys, Israeli RP's, Swedes and Sharps leave stubble.
The 195 set at 7, ATG of course.

I love the low profile head and the nearly surgical precision I get from the HD/Feather combo. Gets the job done.

call me crazy...and I've been called worse...but a Feather in a nice ol' Fat Handle Tech will give you BBS every time...No matter how "Manly" your beard is.
My fat boy gets the nod (on 3), with the Merkur long handle coming in second.
I enjoy feathers in my 26 Gillette Bostonian.

I also have to say that in addition to the fat boy on 3 or 4, my 1954 ss, my blue tip, my red tip, either of my kronas, my black handled gillette super adjustable, and my lady gillette (stars ftw) all perform flawlessly with a feather.

The Parat somehow seems to keep the blades nearly as stiff as a slant does. It's really a great shaver.
I agree that the Parat/Feather combo is a good one. But Fat Handle Tech/Feather is my new go to. Smoooooooth...
