Has anyone had any experience with 7am blades

Looking to try some new blades. Has anyone used 7am blades?

I tried them last year and was not impressed. I prefer Dorco instead.

There is some differing of opinion on the 7AMs, but I find I prefer them over Merkurs, Derbys, and Crystals so far. The 7AMs just give me a smoother shave with my minimal prep.

In fact, I ordered 100 the other day.

I liked them better than the derby's I tried. gave some to my friends who liked them. probably better blades out there, but for the price, not bad. I'm a straight shaver, so I have not tried the many other blades available.

I found them to be just average. Usable but totally uninspiring.

I've used them. I find they are similar to, or at least close to being on a par with, the I.P.'s that I normaly use. But then I don't really see a measurable difference between the I.P.'s (blue wrapper) and the red wrapper ones either.

Maybe I'm just not that critical of a blade. With good preparation, I get a great, "feels like there's no blade in the razor", shave out of any of the blades mentioned.
