Hey Marco. I will try to add pictures a bit later on. I do tend to dress up when dining, going to concerts and such, however it's not where I put my focus. The outfit I chose is pretty well a "tuxedo for the woods". The best quality clothing possible for comfort, durability and warmth, in the budget you provided. Just playing along and giving a different angle, as I like to spend my spare time in the woods, as said in my previous post.

Cheers

A very balanced and classic set-up, James! You really cannot go wrong with a grey suit combined with a white shirt and a black pair of shoes.

As about bow ties, these are something I'm starting to appreciate only recently. Just like ties, they can be extremely versatile and you can find bow ties for any kind of outfit, both very formal and smart casual. Last week I purchased two smart casual bow ties in silk, one in red and one in blue navy.

Thanks, Marco. And again, apologies for the delay in replying. I don't own many bow ties yet. But I thought for a special event I might enjoy standing out from the crowd. And a bow tie seems like a fun an stylish way to do that. :)

Pretty much the same set up every day for me. I rarely wear suits because I don't have to but still like to dress with some style.

Brooks brothers dress shirt but I've come to like some of the Van Heusen styles so laugh all you want.

Dress pant are either Vanheusen or Ralph Lauren with a coach, J&M or AE belt depending on color.

I'm big on comfy socks which are usually AE or Ralph Lauren.

Shoes are either imperials, Johnston and Murphy or one of my 5 pairs of AE.

Winter coat is a lands end 100% wool that I found at Marshalls for $30 that had the original $269 price tag in the pocket. That one had me smiling all week.

I have kids so $500 shoes and $200 dress shirts are really not an option and honestly wouldn't buy them anyways. I shop a lot at outlet stores and discount retailers even though I really don't have to but I'm a tightwad.
