Encyclopedia of razor edge images.

I will compile here images of razor edges taken at 400x magnification with the same scope setup, razor, and technique from a variety of hones.

The razor is a Henckels 22.

The technique is as follows:
Take a finished razor to a DMT 8000 for 70 strokes to return it to that edge.
Hone for exactly 100 passes @ 8" length hone, adjusted for length of pass (so 6" hone will receive 140 passes, 5" pass length vs 7").
Consistent pressure will be used across all stones.
Unless noted, water is used.
Razor is then wiped clean/dry and imaged immediately, without stropping.

Each stone will be given its own post to avoid confusion. A brief description may accompany where I feel it necessary. If the stone's ID is uncertain, a picture of the stone will accompany as well.
