Hot Towel, NSS Moroccan Sands, Body Shop Synthetic, Merkur 39C, Astra SS (8), Cold Towel, Hugo Boss 'Boss'

Today is Masculine Scent Monday. I gave my Nanny's Silly Soap 'Moroccan Sands' a run out today, as the scent is divine, a distinctly masculine scent that offers a slightly gentler set of aromas to stir the senses. The lather was protective and gave ample glide, resulting in an almost complete BBS shave, with great post finish. I married Hugo Boss 'Boss' to the shave today as it is my favourite fragrance to date. English artisans really know how to knock out a great soap!

Hot Towel, Phoenix & Beau Unscented, Body Shop Synthetic, Merkur 39C, Astra SS (9), Cold Towel, Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey

Well, what a sublime shave! I tweaked a sample of the soap by adding a couple of sprays of the EDT and leaving the soap to absorb the scent overnight in my TSR bowl (covered). The scent in the lather was very subtle, think baby powder subtle, just enough to let you know it is there on occasion. The lather was incredibly protective, the post shave stellar, even when you factor in the 9 day (3 passes per day) Astra blade! Topped off with a cold towel and a spritz of L'eau D'Issey and you have a shave that was scented from the Gods and Goddesses!
