Here's a hone that I got in a lot of hones at a flea market. After soaking in Simple Green and then Oxy-clean:
It is 175mm x 65mm x 30 mm
I'm sure that it is some type of slate. At first I thought it was a synth due to the very consistent horizontal machine marks on the end and sides. (Hard to see from the end shot)After a cursory running of an blade across it it doesn't feel as fine as a Thuringian. It makes a light cream colored slurry with a DMT.
Anyone have any guesses? Thanks for looking
