Another try with the OCMM Open Comb Micromatic

I love the star lather catcher... It's not mild. Mmoc is like a superspeed by comparison.

The mmoc and the 24 both have slightly different angles than most of the other se. Mm is a little flatter to the face than most where you have to pull back a touch more than a hint. 24 needs to be pulled back a bit more than a typical se. It has the most finicky blade angle imo.

I pulled out my MMOC yesterday and loaded a new Gem PTFE. This razor, while giving me a close shave is not usually kind to my face. Making sure I used no pressure and shaving slower than I usually do paying close attention to pressure and technique, I went to work. I got a couple of weepers without even knowing it, but the shave was so so so close. The Cat O 9 Tails had me backing up when I splashed it on after the shave. Next Sunday I will use my other MMOC, the one without studs on the blade tray. It might not be a fair comparison as the blade will have one shave on it, and I usually get better shaves with that blade after the first couple of shaves.
