Allen Edmunds has a pretty good sale - $69.

I have their shoes, but no belts. Is this purchase a good idea?

I'm going to wear it with jeans and like a soft belt.

I have one and it seems to work. Once you find the hole to wear it on the belt doesn't seem to stretch like I thought it was going to. I don't wear it often because 1, I don't like a soft belt and 2, the buckle says the 'f word' on it, haha.

But the leather is pretty durable and doesn't stretch out.

I like the three AE belts I have. My black "dress" belt gets the most use and it is holding up nicely. Barely any wear despite near constant use for two years.
