Winter shoe protection

Not good or bad, imo, excellent!

This. From someone who has worked outside from dark to dark in all kinds of winter/rainy/sloppy/all around miserable weather, this stuff is probably the absolute best thing you can do for leather boots.

I suggest that you get some tall boots. When they plow the snow, you will likely have to walk through the plowed snow to get where you need to go. You may also have to dig your car out from the plowed snow, and you don't want to be doing that in dress shoes. In regards to SNO-SEAL, yes, it is good stuff. I have used it on a pair of hiking boots and I like it.
