MiguelATF!
A beautiful shot and a splendid anachronistic composition: an antique clock as a background for vintage looking labels and a modern razor!
Really great!

Okay, full confession: I'm a B&B newb. Having said that, there are such cool SOTD pictures here that I couldn't resist joining in.

Today's theme: OLD......and NEW

The details -

Natüra Soap (new) ~ Pré de Provence (well-used) ~ Semogue 1305 (new) ~ Gillette Fusion (new) ~ Humphreys Witch Hazel astringent (a classic) ~ Kiehl's Facial Fuel (how much newer can you get?) ~ clip-on Dark Glasses (timeless) ~ the Old Clock (antique) ~

And that's all she wrote.

Nice photo! I love seeing new members posting pictures of their shave gear.

7.31.14

Weber PH Classic | Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (1) | Mike's Natural Bay Rum | TGN 24mm Finest | Fine American Blend

Pre: Proraso green pre-shave cream
Soap: Wet Shaving Products unscented "prototype"
Brush: M&F Chief, 26mm blonde badger
Razor 1: Peter Hahn 3/8 "Little Buddy"
Razor 2: Ikon OSS
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock green (3)
Post: Thayer's Lemon witch hazel, followed by Captain's Choice Bay Rum

WSP testing sample whipped up a thick creamy lather with absolutely zero scent, but plenty of performance.
1st pass (WTG) was with the Peter Hahn, but it wasn't sharp enough, so I went 2 complete passes with the OSS (WTG & XTG) to finish the job.

Thank you, AlfredoT for the kind words! Mille grazie!

And thanks to you too, mdevine! Though if the truth be told, I've been both awed and impressed by the quality of SOTD photos browsing through this and other threads, and they have inspired me. There's a lot of photographic talent lurking here on B&B!
