I saw today a Wilkinson Sword Razor in it's original box, that had a "rack" of single edge blades each in it's own frame that were marked Monday-Sunday. A scary looking contraption, but very neat. Can anyone identify this one?
Thanks.
Sounds like a Wilkinson Sword Empire circ. 1930's.
They were actually one of the first, if not the first adjustable razor, as the lather roller in front of the blade has a knob to adjust the gap in/out.
The blades are hand forged, and sharpened with a leather strop.
Shaving blade angle is similar to the GEMS / EverReady's, does take some getting use to.
Is it ok to post this here ? http://wilkinsonrazors.blogspot.co.uk/
This is a website with a lot of different Wilkinsons razors models.
I used this to identify mine ...

I think the razor was this one. No, did not buy it. Next time.
I don't know if the image got posted. Newbie issues.
