Lamy Al-Star+ Faber-Castell converter

Hi everybody,

I'm from Croatia and I just bought Lamy Al-Star fountain pen locally and it came without converter. It is may first own fountain pen. I have a Pelikan 400 that my mother got from her Uncle. I cleaned it and it works amazingly!

I need your help about a converter for my new Lamy. I want to buy one for it and the only one available in Croatia is Faber-Castell's converter. Can anyone please tell me will the pen work with it? Will it fit? I'm worried will it also leak over time?

Thank you all for your help

Thanks Doug. I think I saw a Parker converter somewhere. That should work as I understand as the are both proprietary?

No, the Parker won't fit either. Proprietary means it only takes the special cartridge made by that company for its own pens.

It would probably be easy enough to find one in Germany through internet sales.
