Super adjustable tto end cap removal question

Hi all,
I've been trying to free up a poor condition super adjustable that doesn't want to tighten smoothly even after many soaks/oil etc.
I had great success disassembling my slim as I documented here a few weeks ago.

My question is does anyone know how to get into the bottom off the TTO knob to access the retaining
plate/screw, assuming it's similar to the slim/fatboy.
Is it just a pressed on cap (the thin silver bit on the end) or screwed on (left hand thread?) or is this just built a lot differently to the slims.

would be very grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.


Ah.... problem solved it is just pressed in, a slight tap with a thick blade in the joint popped it off.

How did it go?

It cleaned up nice and worked well.
This is the one in the other thread showing all the bits of green gunk that came out the handle.
I sold it shortly afterwards. This was a short handle one and I preferred the long which I still have, doesn't get much use though since I found LC NEWS and a progress.

As good as new I think, you couldn't pull it off by hand.
