Nice collection slim. I really like the simplicity of the Squadron L, and the Douglas is a really nice dress watch.

$1941_bulova-300x201.jpgVery nice watches indeed. I use to own a Douglas several years ago. If I an not mistaken it was Rose Gold and ran like a top. I traded it to a friend of mine. I love these vintage Bulova watches.

My Douglas is Rose Gold...U just can't see it in my crappy pic :) Bulova made some quality watches in their day. I understand Citizen owns Bulova now so their modern timepieces are probably fairly decent quartz.

You can still get a very fine Bulova mechanical watch ala Citizen Miyota movement. Here is one that I bought a couple of years ago. It is as solid as can be.

Now that new Bulova is a good lookin watch!! I love mechanical timepieces and have the three Bulovas and two vintage Gruen's but I get paranoid of using them for everyday wear and during the week I normally wear my Pulsar PJ6029. I just worry less about screwing up a quartz powered watch :)
