Bushmills Irish Whiskey. Yum!
Trying Suntory Yamazaki 12 for the first time. Pleasantly surprised!
Funny you should mention that in the post after my Redbreast 12yo Cask Strength acquisition...I picked up a bottle of the Suntory at the same time, though I got the evil eye from SWMBO at checkout. Glad to hear you liked it.
I must emphasize that although I did like it, it's not as satisfying as others, but does have a place and time for its own kind of enjoyment. The palate was quite different from what I'm used to.
What's your usual? My regulars are Black Maple Hill, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Rittenhouse Rye BIB, Aberlour, HP 12, and Redbreast 12yo. I find something I like in every one of them, and wonder how my list compares to yours. Thanks, my man.
I'm expanding the selection to include other browns (bought some cognac yesterday and almost bought a rye but didn't know what to get so I didn't).
