Most guys who shave with vintage straight razors go through a period of mild obsession with Sheffield razors. Big slabs of steel, pared down just enough to call the brute a razor, your typical Sheffield wedge plows through stubble as though it isn't there. Though many guys will go on to appreciate or prefer the finesse of more hollow ground razors, they'll return from time to time to these brutes for their buttery smoothness.
Let's see these relics from another age, your Sheffield wedges. A few of mine:
Mappin's Shilling Razor 6/8
Unknown - From Victoria's Reign 5/8
Wolstenholm The IXL Razor 8/8
Wade & Butcher "The Ottoman Egyptian and Royal Windsor Razor," 7/8
