Storing cream in aluminum container

I am wondering whether it is OK to store shaving cream in an aluminum container or are these containers meant for soaps only? Not sure if the aluminum will react with the cream ingredients somehow. Or maybe I'm just better off using a plastic container, but don't know where to get those from.

I can't think of the addresses offhand, but there are several companies (not shaving specific) that specialize in plastic screw top containers that would work great for cream. I wouldn't use the metal one for cream. You could also try contacting one of the small soap makers and see if they would be willing to see you a jar or just use a small tupperware type container.

I'd appreciate any pointers in the right direction, what I found is big packs of 24 and more and I clearly do not need that many. I dropped a jar on the tile and it cracked so I'd like to move the cream into another container and also have a couple spare ones in case my klutziness strikes again. So I need 3-4 jars that can hold 4-5 oz. of cream or soap.

I use Mama Bear containers for my soaps ($1.80ea). They also have wooden bowls that are very nice. Link to Mama Bear tubs.

Given how everything made from aluminum corrodes in my house, I wouldn't trust it with any shaving related products.

Very nice, exactly what I was looking for. Now, how do I resist adding 1 or 2 or more soaps to the order??
