The Going Rate For A Filarmonica ?

I was wondering what is the going rate for a Filarmonica doble temple #12 in excellent shape?

Splitting the difference on a couple that come up on eBay I'd say $150...no lower than $110 or much higher than $205?

I'd say 200-250 for NOS on the bay. Maybe a bit less for an excellent but you know those auctions.

The above sounds right. I got my #13 for $50 US shipped to Oz but mine was in a poor condition (it's getting better at the moment ).

sounds like a good deal to me.

My only concern is its a 5/8 and ive been rather fond of larger blades recently. Im hoping it lives up to the hype these fine spanish blades have. Then I wouldnt mind the size it may even become a daily razor.

I'm hoping to find one myself. I too am liking the larger blades, but am just starting and am not married to anything either. I just watched a NOS #12 end on eBay for $170 something. A little higher than I want to go right now, but the mystique is definitely there.

I dunno, I bought two at $80 a pop NOS 6/8 without the gold wash.
