Lubricating a Razor

I have read a lot about lubricating a razor after cleaning a sterilizing it. It about time my Fatboy and Super Adjustable got a good cleaning. I picked up Hydrogen peroixde, scrubbing bubble and mineral oil. once I'm done cleaning how do i lubricate with the mineral oil. Do i just soak the whole razor in it or...?

You can soak the whole razor in it, but makes sure to clean off the outside carefully when you're done. I think just dripping a bit of oil down the shaft from the top with the TTO open and then working the mechanicals will do just as well without making nearly as much of a mess or hassle. As long as everything feels smooth and there doesn't seem to be any grinding, scratching, or excessive rubbing inside I think you'll be fine.

i put a bit of mineral oil around the hinges of the silo doors, a bit down the shaft and some around the twist knob. a bit of working around and then some scrubbing bubbles to get the oily residue off works quite well
