Let's see how movies or TV shows there are that have fancy pen scenes [ no Bics ] . Name the movie/TV show and if possible what pen is being used...lets see how many we can find.

Pelican. Probably M800.
Good eye......Don't think so, not with that metal grip section.
I have those, i will look for the scenes now.....Sorry, no stills, and no intention of providing any. And I'll interpret "fancy" to mean fountain or dip pens.
I do watch a lot of older movies where fountain pens are common, but I've never identified a specific one. It's somewhat interesting to see the actors matter-of-factly using the normal artifacts of their time, but cataloging all the instances doesn't seem to have much point.
Then there are modern period films. I recall a scene in The King's Speech (2010) where the dying King George V needs to sign a delegation of authority, and we see a very luxurious looking gold-nibbed fountain pen from his point of view. No idea what it was.
It's more interesting to me to see a fountain pen being portrayed in our ballpoint era. There's a scene in Casino (1995) where Joe Pesci's character rebukes a bar patron's boorish behavior by stabbing him repeatedly with a fountain pen. That's got to be bad for the nib, but it wasn't his pen. Looked like a nice one, but again I can't say what it was.
One that I did identify with a fair amount of certainty was in The Grey (2011). Before Liam Neeson leaves on the ill fated flight that will strand him in the wilderness, we see him writing a letter with a Lamy Safari.

I saw the movie [ Sharon stone was great too] ...even though i don't prefer graphic scenes, i will post the pen scene onlySorry, no stills, and no intention of providing any. And I'll interpret "fancy" to mean fountain or dip pens.

Jim, i may have that one too. I will see and post back.I wish I had the movie still, and I could be completely mis-remembering, but in the movie "Torn Curtain", Paul Newman uses a fountain pen to write with. In my imagination, I thought it could be a 51.

maybe a delta for that pen ?
I am looking at "The Grey" later and post back.Sorry, no stills, and no intention of providing any. And I'll interpret "fancy" to mean fountain or dip pens.

In the awesome movie "A Beautiful Mind", (2002 Oscar’sfor Best Picture, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Director, and Best Writing & Screenplay), Robert Nash (played by Russell Crowe...nominated for Best Actor), was awarded the Nobel Prize and was congratulated and honored with the 'Pen Ceremony'!
I noticed a few MB's (especially the first Professor who gave up his MB [I believe it's a FP], but I don't recognize the other expensive models (maybe some of our members, gentleman and pen connoisseurs can 'chime in' here?).

I can only think of the scene in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" where Sean Connery shoots ink in the eye of a German soldier while he and Marcus are "in the belly of that iron beast". "Henry, don't you see? The pen! The pen is mightier than the sword!"
