Whimsical Blade Pairings

Does anyone else match a disposable razor blade with a razor, soap, or whatnot for the enjoyment of the pun?

For instance, I put Shark brand razor blades in my RazoRock JAWS safety razor and think Timor DE blades should face a mentholated lather (shiver me Timors).

How about all y’all? Anyone use “Treet” just for the name and then grew to enjoy them onwards?

I have done what you mentioned only one time. I used B&M Cheshire soap with Pinaud Clubman aftershave. The soap smells like Earl Grey tea, and the aftershave smells sweet, so that was my sweet tea shave.

I use a blood orange soap with a Feather blade…..usually while playing dramatic music and then start screaming while I apply my alum stick.

I've never done it on purpose, but occasionally I get some whimsical pairings as they come up in my rotation. The most interesting might have been this all blue-themed setup:

Razor: Maggard titanium(blue)-anodized Maggard V3 head on a blue-anodized MR11 handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Yaqi Blue Marble (26mm Timber Wolf)
Soap: RazoRock Blue Marble

All I needed was Bobby Vinton crooning "Blue Velvet" in the background and it would have been the perfect shave.
