Yep, you got it. Heaven Lake (or Beakdusan in Korean) on the border of NK and China. This was my second occasion to be there and this time I was walking back and forth across the border the entire time w/o realizing it. It truly is breathtaking.

Further north. The particular town I was in at the time is very famous for the doors on their buildings. They are an attraction for photographers. Also, excellent coffee in that region (drinking some now).
