Hachimanjyu Yakushima Island black, Kaneroku Matsumoto cinnamon wood smoked black

The cinnamon wood smoked black tea is unreal. I've never tasted anything quite like it. It's smoked, so like a lapsang souchong or something, but the smoke flavor is different, cinnamon but not in the same way as the spice you might cook with.

Just picked up a tin of Harney & Son's "Paris." Amazing cup! Really can smell and taste the carmel/currant/vanilla notes.

Some cut it with a plain black tea, can see that too.

Harney and Son's produces some very good teas. I've had Paris before, and you're right, it is a wonderful teal. I prefer not to cut it with plain black.

Today, like everyday: Twinings Gunpowder Green Tea.

This is a a loose tea that I can get three cups from thereby making it quite affordable.

I used to drink coffee all day but have scaled back to just a cup or two in the morning. The remainder of the day is green tea.
