How did you finish the bade belly, satin finish? Or is it just the lighting in the photo? Either way looks good.

Could probably benefit from some heel correction to move the heel corner well away from the stabilizer.

I really like that paint job, I’m going to do the same my piece of railway track that’s an awful gold colour. I’ve always hated that colour but it never occurred to me to repaint it.

I gave a light sanding to this old Joseph Smith Sheffield and stuck it in some cheap scales because that’s all I had. I’ll upgrade the scales when some better ones come along.

This was the second razor I’ve pinned and I’m really happy with how they turned out. I regret not redoing the wedge end pins though.

This Puma 91 developed a bad case of cell rot.I purchased this from Matt @ Griffith Shaving Goods and he was kind enough to make new acrylic scales as well as clean the blade up. You can see the before and after photos below. Needless to say Griffith did a great job and I couldn’t be more pleased.

New mocha pearl scales for this New England Razor Co. round point. They really glow and sparkle when high polished, but I like them better satin finished.

Finally made new shoes for the G. Johnson Seven Stars.

I ended up using a pair of pre-made horn scales from GSG and then rounding the tops and making the tips slightly pointed.

Here is the razor mocked up after sanding the scales with 2000-grit.

The new scales after 400 grit next to the original. I looked at a bunch of photos of the same razor and liked the way the razor looked in black shoes.

The scales slathered with neatsfoot oil after being polished.
