Time for my own contribution. This Erik Anton Berg (about 7/8) in ivory just might be one of a kind. Together with my CVH No.16 with thumb notch and ivory scales they are the only ones of their kind I've ever seen and I've seen many Swedish razors. My guess is that they both are prototypes that never went into production. They are without doubt the crown jewels in my humble razor collection.

I'm afraid that the Japanese razors remains a mystery to me, but I at least understand that Hayashi is a top quality brand. Besides from that it's a beautiful razor.

Thank you very much. It was a real pain to hone; hard steel plus it had not been treated well in a prior life. It's giving good shaves now and is in a loving home!

Cream: CE Sweet Almond Oil
Brush: EJ Badger
Aftershave: Witch Hazel and Brut
Still learning to shave with a straight, having trouble shaving right under my chin, finished off with my DE: EJ 89 w/Personna Red blade
