Thursday’s shave……
IMG_7058.jpeg

Dutchi Bergamot soap….excellent creamy lather
Omega 10108 boar brush
KAI blade
Swing razor (perhaps) or maybe some other model.
Excellent shave indeed. 2 passes got me a DFS++. This razor reminded me of a Tech but perhaps a tad more aggressive.
Thanks Guido!

Not made for these times.
From last night. 🌜

Pre-shave • Neutrogena Fragrance-free Bar Soap

Soap • Proraso Green

Bowl • CaYuen (Large)

Brush • Connaught Omega Jade

Razor • Lambda Ares V2

Blade • Gillette Silver Blue (1)

*Warm Shower*

Aftershave • Thayers Unscented + Bootlegger's Green Freeze

Eye Gel • Neutrogena Hydro Boost

Another great shave with the Ares V2/GSB combo. No weepers or irritation. It's 85° here so I had to call upon the Green Freeze.

10/10.

Have a peaceful evening, friends.

Thursday's shave -

Razor: Pearl Blaze
Blade: Rubie (1)
Lather: Cremo
Aftershave: Afta

The Blaze is a great razor for me. It seems similar to the DE89/R89 design but is somehow more efficient. If you are looking for an upgrade to the DE89/R89 and are looking for a bit more efficiency (while still being easy to use), the Blaze might be a good fit.

Razor: Game Changer .78
Blade: Nacet (4)
Brush: Dubl Duck
Soap: House of Mammoth Everett
Splash: House of Mammoth Everett

It was a day of firsts other than the blade. 1st shave with the Game Changer, 1st time using a boar brush and first lather and splash with HOM Everett. I loved all of it.

Rate 9.8

Another excellent evening shave with the GC .76-P.

Pre: Stirling Pre-Shave Soap
Razor: RazoRock GC .76-P
Blade: Perma-Sharp (1)
Soap: Stirling Sharp-Dressed Man
Brush: PAA Amber Aerolite 24mm Synthetic
Bowl: Timeless
Post-Shave: Stirling SDM AS followed by Burt's Bees balm (which is pretty good!)

Great 2-pass shave, 9.9/10. So after shaving with my Timeless Ti .68 in both SB and OC for a couple of weeks and then returning to the GC .76-P, I am now thinking that the Timeless in .68 configurations might be too mild for me. I am feeling a strong urge to try the Ti .95SB or Slim baseplate, and I suspect that I will yield to this urge very soon.

Preshave: Glycerine Facewash with warm water splashes
Razor : Feather Artist Club DX Folding
Blade : Feather Super Professional (D8)
Brush : Omega 11137 Boar
Soap : Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood
Aftershave : Alum Block + Cold water splashes + D R Harris Arlington AS Lotion

This blade had nicely mellowed down. Today's 8th shave with this blade was really a very nice experience

Close and comfortable BBS in 3 passes !! :pipe:

Rating : 9.90/10
