WD-40 Can Do All That! Who Knew?

29. Lubricates fan belts on washers and dryers and keeps them running smoothly.

Belts and pulley's use friction. Adding a lubricant is detrimental to their working properly. If you have a squealing belt the best thing you can do is to remove the old belt clean the pulley of any built up material and replace with a new clean belt. Never use "Belt Dressing" or lubricants.

I like the amature motorcycle mechanic kit... if it moves but shouldn't, use the tape. If it should move but doesn't, use the WD...

LPS is still made, though it is more of an electronics cleaner/lubricant.


And WD40, at 50% mineral spirits... I would hardly say that "there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you"
It's not particularly harmful as far as contact or even inhalation, but I would not drink the stuff.

I use WD-40 in sandwiches.

You can also use a smaller WD-40 to help get that lid off of a larger WD-40 can like Hank Hill
