9 degrees this morning; rather cold for South Carolina. I do have one faucet working so things could be worse I suppose. It is only going up to 32 today so I don't expect to see any hope of thawing.

56 yesterday at 5 am, today 5 (-13 with the windchill), same time 5 am. As we say in German: "Saukalt"
Our power went out again this morning but thank the Lord it was back on within 20 minutes.

An hour north of you (goderich). Nice a stormy all day, had some chest high drifts to deal with. Good times.
My brain grasped that as chest high waves, because I spent so many years standing in the river below the highway bridge there lol.
Yeah, I've been watching the radar. No lake effect snow here, thankfully.
Cold! I just walked home 2 blocks from my neighbor’s Christmas Eve party and with the wind chill it’s -17, definitely brisk out.
Not bad today. Two days ago it was -12, so at least we are on the positive side!

Right now it's 15° in Twang Town.
It has warmed up to 16 here in Connecticut. We haven’t celebrated Christmas yet as my son had a 36 hr shift at the fire station. Usually I hope for gear, gadgets or scotch from Santa but this year really warm socks or a sweater or gloves would be perfect. Stay warm.

Temp is 20 degrees warmer than last week and it's still on 12F. Also, recently saw the attached graphic which gave me a chuckle.
