my R41 has spoilt me, sadly i might only do it occasionally from here on and not every tuesday.
I have two nicks and a sore chin after tech tuesday

I just bought two Tech razors: one travel model and one standard. I know the standard -handle model is from 1966, not sure when the travel Tech was made. This will be my first experience with Gillette's Tech razor. I hope the razor lives up to all the praise it receives on B&B. I may try using it with a handle from my EJ DE89, if the threads match. Looking forward to getting and using these razors.

I had discounted the Tech because I had heard/read that it was a mild razor; but this isn't so. It's certainly cuts more efficiently than a Feather AS-D1; and after giving it a quick 'feel', I can hardly wait to get my first Tech shave tomorrow morning. Bring on some Arko and my badger brush, an Astra SPP blade, and my new (to me), pristine Gillette Tech!
