I read yesterday that Tim Burton is currently filming Sweeney Todd starring Johnny Depp. I would imagine that straight razors might make an appearance in that film.
I've never seen The Leopard, although I've read the book (I'm assuming this is the same story).

Didn't John Cleese (as a British army officer) shave with a straight razor in "The Meaning of Life"?
Hmmm, beat me to it! strange film. Very strange. The Captain in "Pan's Labyrinth". But his angle is a little off.

Oh, how could I forget that? War, blood, guts and gore going on all around, and the only notice the officers take is when a Zulu spear shatters the shaving mirror.
Just the other night I watched "North by Northwest". There was a scene when Cary Grant gets off the train in Chicago and uses a very tiny woman's DE to shave in station's mensroom. Next to him is a guy using a straight that just rolls his eyes and goes back to shaving while Cary Grant shaves.
And let's not forget the chilling opening scene of Salvador Dali's film 'L'age D'or' where a razor slices clean through an eyeball........!
