Dug into the Scotto Vault for the old Taylor rose. For those who never tried it, you missed probably the best scent in shaving-dom. Alas, it is no more. :c7:

Merkur 1904 w/ Israeli blade (5th use)
SR3824 brush :001_tt1:
C&E Sienna soap
Proraso liquid ASB

Pecksniff's Oriental Woody EdT

Very interesting shave today, as I hurt my neck in the shower and had to keep it straight. I'm loving my new ebony SR3824 brush, it's so luxurious compared to the floppy SR204. I'm sticking with soaps for the moment because my first experiment with a cream didn't go so well.

Friday Morning 04:40

Gillette Black Handled Adjustable
Derby Extra
MP Silvertip
Col Conk Bay Rum SS
GFT Bay Rum Cologne

I am soo thrilled about my new Muehle Pinsel brush - it is sooo Great!! Leaves my other brushes faar behind - Sweet  :001_tt1:

Tom, try giving the brush a hard shake, and then add water slowly to your mixing bowl or mug....you can always add water, but you can't take it out.
Cheers, DJ.

First shave with the Rooney - at 26mm, this is by far the biggest brush I've used to date and it really whipped up a lather in no time flat - I can't see me ever getting anything bigger.

The Escential shave cream was very nice - thanks to Dinder for the sample!

That's exactly what I did. Strangely enough, it changed very quickly from "is there any water in there or is that just cream?" to "hey, where'd the cream go? slosh slosh"
