Yesterday I got my Norton 4k/8k anf flatening stone in the mail from vintageblades. Great service and fast shipping, highly recommended.
Also got the W&B from blaireau. Seem to have been reground and shortened a little. After a little 1000 and 2000 grit paper and a good honing it looks great. I'll have to bring it back to the hone today. The tip and heel are still not taking an edge right, even after honing at 45 degrees and all the other tricks mentioned here, at SRP and on Lynn's DVD.
