I decided to give the Trac II a go today after a long respite. I've owned the satin finish Merkur handle for probably 15 or so years, but I haven't used it in a long time. I had a few leftover Trac II blades, so I decided to give it a go today. After getting used to the blade/handle angle, it gave a close irritation-free shave. I was actually pretty impressed...I think Gillette should have quit with two blades!

That's a pretty nice looking razor. Would be nice to take on travels if you only had a carry-on

Today's shave with the 33c with the Feather blade was so much easier on my face than the shave I had yesterday with the 15c and Bic blade. I am going to wait a few days before using the 15c again. I am definitely changing the blade.
