Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap (1st time using. Very nice. Gotta work to lather it up but then; look out!)
warm water rinse
touch up with disposable Gillette
cold water splash
Thayers Lavender w/h
Clubman a/s (couple splashes applied with wet hands or else scent is a bit overpowering imo)

Tried a shave BEFORE the shower today... but it seems weird applying my post-shave regimen (Alum, W/H, A/S splash, A/S balm, etc.) and then having to shower and it all washes off!!

How do others who shave pre-shower do their post-shave skin care??

Ahh, pretty good shave today . Nicked myself a couple times on touchup, and had 1 weeper but most of them closed up on the cold water, for the remaining ones I used my styptic.

Merkur HD w/ Feather (2nd shave)
AOS Lavender PSO
AOS Lavender SC (I know I use the same stuff every shave, but I will resist SCAD!)
Thayers WH w/ Aloe (This is as close to magic potion as I've come across)
AOS Lavender ASB

Overall 8/10

How I judge my shave, is by seeing how long the AOS ASB burns my face for, today it only lasted a second and I actually felt a cooling sensation on my face that I've never felt before when I applied the AOS .

More nicks than my previous 'best' shave, but nearly no razor burn (little spot right under bottom lip still giving me some trouble) and no irritation! So while I improved on one thing I took a few steps back on another. Need to be more careful on my touchups I seem to lose all focus when I finish up.

I tried that before but I found that it was detrimental to shave before the shower as my face felt uncomfortable after the shower. You could try not applying your products until after the shower but I think your face might be uncomfortable in the shower that way. The best part of shaving is when you're finished and you apply your ASB and your face feels like a million bucks

Have done that, it is weird.
Cons : - wasting some product since I'll have to remoisturize after shower
- on the other hand, if I don't soothe and moisturize after the shave,
will dehydrate and irritate my skin furhter
Pros : I have better shaves if do it before breakfast ; and most mornings, I'm too hungry to shower+shave before eating, so I do the following : shave, eat and shower

U can shave, apply Nivea Sens. balm for light moisture, shower, and moisturize...

Oh, by the way, that Florena is really nice stuff.

Rather than being a simple "licensing cash in" by a shirtmaker

It's a fine cream and the after shave balm is also recommended
