Simpsons / Hoffritz found in the basement

Still kind of new here. A few photos from my modest den.

Looking for advice on restoring that butterscotch brush. It sat in my basement for 17 years, inherited from a departed in-law who probably inherited it from my wife's grandfather. Signed Hoffritz on the holder, but there's still a faded Simpsons decal on the brush handle. Didn't realize what I had until this morning. Shedding/well-shedded Best. Needs a refresh. Looking for recommendations -- especially since I'm clumsy and wouldn't want to make a DIY mess out of this.

I might fiddle with the macro gear and tripod later to get a decent close-up (Leica M8 will need Visoflex and bellows to make that work; I was lazy this morning).
