Wow I’m sad. Such a great man and performer. I’m glad he could bless us with his presence for almost 100 years. Rest in peace, you did great Sir.
Shared an elevator with him probably 30 years ago. He was gracious.
Worked one of his shows backstage. Got to watch from stage left.

One of the absolute best ever. I had the great privilege to see him perform two nights in a row back in 2004 when I worked at a concert hall in Toronto.

I saw him at a Bridge School benefit concert a few years ago (hosted by Neil Young). He killed it and definitely hung with the rock bands. Classy, amazing musician. RIP.

One of the old greats, the only person now I like is Harry Connick Jr. And maybe Michael Buble (sp).
One of the best!! My former dentist was playing an instrument in his band, Tony recommended to him to become a dentist. So, he followed Tony's advise and became one. He is also already passed on.
RIP, Mr. Bennett. His jazz vocals were too notch! I really appreciate how he reached out to younger generations and collaborated with musicians in other genres. He made jazz and the Great American Songbook relevant for those who didn't grow up with Sinatra, Elle Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, etc.
The bay area knows how he put a little magic into San Francisco (debuted the song in '61) with "I Left My Heart in San Francisco". There's even a stutue here honoring his legacy. He loved this city.
